Lauren Ashbourne Personal Training
My personal training career started after the pandemic, I had previously taken a gap year after my A levels in which the majority of my time was spent on my own developemt at the gym. This was predominatly for my athletics event, javelin, which turned into a little bit of a powerlifting hobby.

From September 2021 I had learnt how to create my own business and assist people on their gym experiences. Clients who have stayed with me up until present day, I have been able to watch them progress with their abilities and step out of their comfort zones.

Finding my own niche in the gym, being powerlifting. I progressed until the point I could qualify for national competitions, a main experience being at Gymshark HQ and most recently qualifying for a European competition. In summer a mixture of both is what I maintain, javelin and powerlifting. Athletics is where my coaching abilities came from, since the age of 16 coaching children athletics and later on going into schools teaching PE lessons.

Recently enduring on a new adventure and addition to my skillset, I plan on being a PTI in the Army reserves, I enjoy watching my own clients progress and share their sense of achievement, so why not do the same in a different environment?
